Josh Cellars Prosecco is crafted by Deutsch Family Wine & Spirits, a renowned winery based in California. The grapes for this delightful sparkling wine are sourced from the Prosecco DOC region in Northeastern Italy, specifically between the picturesque villages of Valdobbiadene and Conegliano. The wine is made exclusively from Glera grapes, known for their crisp and refreshing qualities. It has an 11% alcohol by volume (ABV).

The making process involves a meticulous double fermentation method. Initially, the grapes are pressed, and the juice is fermented in stainless steel tanks. After the first fermentation, the wine undergoes a second fermentation in large containers called autoclaves, where carbonation is introduced. This process ensures the wine retains its vibrant effervescence and fresh fruit flavors.

Josh Cellars Prosecco ages briefly, typically 30 days, in the autoclaves, allowing it to develop its signature light sweetness and refreshing acidity. After the secondary fermentation, the wine is filtered and moved to a third tank for racking, which helps remove residual yeast and excess carbon dioxide.
